All of our mohair is from our Angora goats raised here on our ranch. I shear them myself twice a year. The fiber is then washed and picked through to remove as much hay and other veg as possible. I then dye the locks using professional acid dyes and rinse until the water runs clear. Some small bits of veg may remain but will fall out during carding or spinning. I’ve done my best to show the true color of the fiber in the photos but due to monitor settings there may be slight color variations.
